The preparations for Read Fest remind me of Santa's elves at Christmastime. Lexington One's media specialists and the many volunteers and other participants who make this happen are scurrying about getting ready for all of the happy faces that will show themselves tomorrow. It does take a huge amount of commitment and cooperation, as does any worthwhile effort. I can hardly wait.
I loved it. I especially liked that we have included so many community partners. Huge Success! Children were all very engaged.
